Culture Corner December 2021 - Outsource Access
Culture Corner Outsource Access

How did your holidays go? Our Team in the Philippines had a jampacked month, preparing for business reviews for 2021. We also had a great time with colleagues during our Virtual Christmas party. Plus, our leadership team delivered gifts to the Virtual Assistants from our neighboring regions, and they survived a storm! It was indeed a December to remember.

As we all start a new year, we thought it was only fitting to share the events during the month. We are presenting them to you in our Core Values order. We hope that you enjoy this last newsletter for the year.

Happy New Year!

Gratitude

Gift Giving

Outsource Access would not have grown this fast if not for the hard work of the Virtual Assistants. To show our appreciation, the leadership braved the floods and landslides to give some holiday cheer to our staff from neighbouring regions. It was a trip well worth it. We can’t wait for the day when huge gatherings are allowed so we can finally get together as one family!

Relationship-driven

Typhoon Odette

December 16, 2021, Typhoon Odette hit the Philippines and left thousands of Filipinos homeless. The typhoon brought heavy rains, causing severe flooding in Cagayan de Oro and the neighbouring regions where most of the Virtual Assistants are located, forcing some VAs to evacuate.

The Outsource Access leadership team created a Central Command through the platform LARK, monitoring all the staff and lending help as needed.

Filipinos are known for their resilience, so even during the storm and the internet outage, the staff was able to find ways to continue serving you. Thank you for allowing us to prioritise the safety of our team during that eventful week.

Everlong Quest for Improvement

Top Performers

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” — Pele.

Outsource Access supports individuals who do not cease to learn and improve. That is why we have programs to equip virtual assistants with the skills they need to succeed at what they do.

It is also essential to recognise the individuals who shined brighter than most this year.

Meet our Top Performers for 2021.

Attention to Details

Best in Playbook

The Playbook is a document where all necessary processes about a Virtual Assistant task are kept and constantly updated to ensure business continuity should an unforeseen circumstance occur.

Meet Chandem, our Best in Playbook Awardee. Chandem’s Playbook is exceptional. She documented every detail that anyone could step in and perform her task without difficulties. We are impressed with how she took the time to update it constantly. She sure did go above and beyond! Thank you, and congratulations, Chandem!

VA of the Year

“Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better. – Pat Riley”

Meet Maribel, 2020’s Playbook of the Year and 2021’s Virtual Assistant of the year awardee. Both awards are the highest awards given to a Virtual Assistant, and she got both in two succeeding years. She is GREAT! She lives and breathes the Outsource Access core values, and the result shows. Keep it up, Maribel!
