Job Description

The HR Employee Relations Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing employee relations, performance management, policy development, and compliance support within the organization. They are responsible for implementing effective performance management strategies, conducting employee relations management, providing policy development and compliance support, facilitating grievance committee hearings, and ensuring accurate reporting. By analyzing data and trends, they contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and foster a positive work environment. Additionally, they support employees and managers in understanding and complying with HR policies and legal requirements, ensuring fair and unbiased outcomes in conflict resolution and investigations.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in effectively managing employee relations, with a focus on virtual work environments, demonstrating the ability to address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to legal requirements in all HR practices and processes.
  • Familiarity with the reporting requirements of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), enabling accurate and timely submission of necessary reports.
  • Strong understanding of conflict resolution techniques and grievance handling processes, facilitating fair and unbiased resolution of employee disputes.
  • Extensive experience in policy development and compliance implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and document management systems, effectively utilizing technology to streamline HR processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and prepare accurate reports, enabling data-driven decision-making in HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, ensuring precision and accuracy in HR-related tasks and documentation.
  • Graduate of HR, business, statistics, mathematics, or any related field, holding a 4 or 5-year Bachelor’s Degree, providing a solid foundation in HR principles and practices.
  • Prior experience working in a large, complex organization, demonstrating the ability to navigate a diverse and dynamic work environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist, displaying comprehensive knowledge and expertise in various HR functions.
  • Preferably with experience in a Virtual Work Environment, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities associated with remote work.
  • Capable of working in a hybrid setting, balancing onsite and online work responsibilities effectively.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and compliance requirements is a plus, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and legal standards.
  • Additional knowledge in Canva and Graphic Design is a plus, enabling the creation of visually appealing HR materials and assets.
